Making process
01. Materials for CNC cut
I bought maple and plywood for the top part and bottom part. After glued several pieces together, they are ready for CNC cut.
02. Ready for sanding party
After the pieces came out from the CNC machine, I can start to separate them from the whole piece and sand off extra parts.
03. Domino joiner
This Festool joiner creates perfect, smooth-sided mortises that accept wood joiners, which can help the side table to be more stable and stronger after assembly.
04 .Ready for assembly
All the pieces came out very well, next step is assembly.
05. Glue & Dry
Using 12 clamps to secure the position and wait for the wood glue to dry.
06. Finishing
Using Rubio Monocoat pure oil to finish the maple, and create a protective layer.
07. Outcome
Final piece on ArtCenter bridge.

Future Development
For my next step, I'm planning to design a set of tables including a coffee table and a side table, in the same design style which will create a close connection between ancient buildings and modern design style.
